Can you run an interchiller at the drags? Doesn’t the aircon need to be running to cool?

I paintede my valley cover and as soon as I bolted it on the paint chipped at the bolt holes. Made me sad. Looks good man. Without having to read your thread all the way through, how come your rebuilding the engine?

Anybody have a part number for the astra pump for a vz so I can order it?  Seems googgllee isnt the be all and end all

Ended up getting a S480 ProBoost turbo, local and quality, killaboost manifolds, which are off to competition coatings along wiyh the dump pipe, and am still chasing a few bits then will be sorted by october hopefully. Pics soon as stuff happens.

Hopefully have the setup before the end of january, and cerama coated, all the maifolds and pipes, and dump. More money, but will be better suited to the stroker and big cam. The ASE setup was a bit restrictive. Was good on the 6.0, to small on the 390ci.

A stick hit the power steer line, put a pinhole in it, sprayed the wrapped crossover and lit up. Burnt wiring and all sorts of stuff. Will be getting the new setup cerama coated or whatever it is.

All the vy/z at the wreckers were stripped. will look around again after xmas.

Are you able to do a double din 3 gauge holder for where the stereo goes in a vz? I would want the gauges angled toward driver and the bottom half flat for switches.

Am ripping out the ase kit and garrett turbo, replacing with a killaboost and borg t6 setup. ase kit is for sale if anyone knows of someone looking for an entry level kit

Am thinking I will go this way with the vz constant headache/money muncher. New turbo and setup coming soon after engine bay fire.

I painted the bonnet satin black, and messed up the paint mix and it turned out stripey. Will rub it back and respray it white while it is getting fixed again. Trucking it to a mates shed next week to see just how bad it actually is. From above it doesnt look to bad.

 

 

I think the bolted on cowl looks awesome. I am glad I didn’t go with glassed on. My painting lets it down though
