    Thanks, Haven’t done alot recently.

Picked up some fog lights with surrounds and brackets – yet to fit.

Trans cooler – need to fit that as well when i service the trans.

Changed coolant, new heater tap is on its way. That broke haha.

Replaced the front shocks and strut tops – Bilstein and Nolathane, have Nolathane sway bar links to go on also.

Also have some 20″ VE GTS wheels I’m painting to change it up a bit, Wont be getting rid of the original wheels though, they will go into the shed.

Still need a bunch of bits I’ve had no luck finding sadly.

Did get some photos out the front of Holdens before it shuts down, Here’s one of them.

Big hammer and solid hits to the knuckle does the job.

Something different. Wired my climate control up last night.

Now i just need an ambient temp sensor, a/c compressor, heater hoses, and gas. haha

But it works. Will post the instructions I followed in the how to section. with a few modifications.

Alright. Took the Nolathane rear upper control arms out of another VN i have. Slightly used, But didn’t cost anything. and chucked some stockers into that. If the Nolathane crumbles ill switch to another brand.

Will do the same with the lower rear arms, which are also Nolathane, Then plan to cut another pair of lower control arms i have to box the tops of the Nolathane arms. Will take photos as i go.

Also going to have a go at making my own adjustable pan hard bar. Picked up a pan hard for free. among other things. The plan there is, cut a section out, get a large bolt that fits inside. cut the head off, weld to the pan hard, drill some holes and drop more weld in there. weld a nut to the other part of the pan hard, and also have a locking nut. Should work.

And now have 3 sway bars to choose from, the dual setup will go. Mount > RHS welded to mount > Mount. and will probably use all thread or a long bolt as a link pin. Again. photos will happen as i go.

Lacking cash at the moment so everything i do will involve minimal money for now. Hydro will be purchased eventually. also have an idea how to mount my second calipers

Thanks! Next event is early november. Got a few things to do before then. Like. Lower the rear more. Somehow. Sway bars, including twin rear. Hydro with dual calipers.
The steering arm on the knuckles has been shortened. And vs rack ends + tie rods fitted. So the stops are whats stopping steering travel. The guy that modified the knuckles recommended the stops be cut.

Also ive taken to the gaurds with a bar to the point that they almost dont scrub. The inner wheel well is another issue. Haha. Needs more cutting and welding. Ill try to update as i do things. If anyones interested.

They did. Not a whole heap of adjustment left though. And not practical in a daily. But thats not what it is.

Mounting a swaybar and new rear suspension is next.

I have a fair few photos of the day now. Just need to wait for internet at my new house. Then ill put some up.

Currently dont have my laptop. So no pics.

Suspension upgrade was a success. Handles a whole lot better now. Still some bits to work on though.

Drove to the 2nd driftkhana event. Thrashed around for 6 hours. Developed what i believe to be lifter tick. Comes an goes. Destroyed 6 pairs of average tyres. Popped at least 3 tyres. Then drove home.

    Will add some pics soon.

Got it to an acceptable height. Had more adjustment than i thought. cant go much higher. seems good for now.

Will replace them with commo ones eventually. When i can afford.

Also replaced my rear upper control arms. Old nolathane doesn’t like clutch dumps.

Now for a wheel alignment. Pics…

I’ve seen multiple threads etc to suggest they fit. It may be that mine aren’t as long as other brands.

Ill sort something out. may go with vt coil overs. and adjustable top mounts.

    What does everyone suggest? Thanks

I’m kicking myself for believing what i read on the internet. massive waste of money. looks cool though. doesn’t drive without scrubbing.

Because i was told to run s13 coil overs. And couldn’t find anywhere that said it would be an issue.

So that’s what i bought. I guess you learn from your mistakes.

They’re s13 coil overs. adjusted to near full height.

Everything i read about doing the conversion never mentioned that it had to be low or nothing.

Destroyed my guards today. I’m thinking strut top spacers to get some clearance?

    Fitted all this.
