Hey everybody i am about to do my first oil change on my 5L and wondered what people have been using?

My engine is about to click over 220k and still going strong.

I know this is a  opening a big can of worms but interested to get some thoughts.

    Cheers

Using Edge 25w 50 in mine. Seems pretty happy although I don’t use it that often.

I use mobile 1 (the one for older motors), but that’s what the engine has always had since new (i’m told by previous owner). It’s got over 200,000km on the clock and I thrash it at track days and had no probs… lucky.

I use the penrite hpr30 in the ss, but I was using pm lubricants racing 50 in the Calais due to the previous owner swearing it was the best oil for it, mind you it was vortech blown and heavily modified but the pm oil isn’t cheap at all
