G’day in the process of giving my old clubsport a birthday. Quite a lot of history between me and the car.

Bought the car 5 years ago as a stocker 5.0 auto slug box, many auto boxes and diffs later it I ended up building it into a bit of a weekend warrior.

Manual conversion , 286 cam , heads , 4-1 extractors , 3″ exhaust , lowrise manifold , 4:11 spooled diff , devonish trim , vt brake upgrade and suspension overhaul. Eventually kept killing driveshafts and diffs and eventually the motor let go after 2 years of hard work I parted it out.

Once I had sold it I regretted it, longest car I’ve ever owned and wanted it back. So have it as a rolling again and have my 500hp LS3 and T56 and M80 diff out of my VT SS so gonna make it all one. So in the process of stripping the VT at the moment and about to prep the Clubby for its new running gear.

    Engine- LS3 6.2 litre. 233/248@110 lsa cam and headwork. 612hp @ flywheel

Gearbox- T56 with NPC clutch and flywheel

Diff- M80 diff with 3:9 gears mini spooled

Going to be using tuff mount engine and gearbox crossmember with castlemaine rod shop starter motor relocation kit with pacemaker extractors. The rest I’ll be figuring it out as I go.

Yeah sold it to a friend of mine and recently got it back, hoping to have the car done before summer, and should definitely be a bit of a handful. Can’t wait to drive it

at this point of time not worried about getting the car engineered. I won’t be driving it all that much due to my license is my job ( plumber) and I won’t be able to help myself. Wanting to have the car completed and tested and ready to go for tailem bend or a power cruise event

Bit of progress, my donor car VT SS is now basically stripped down and ready for the motor to come out , ran out of jacks so progress had to stop. Exhaust is off, diff is out etc. just need to remove fuel pump / motor and look and ecu the move it on.

Can then start piecing the odds and ends together 💪🏼💪🏼
