Some may know me from elsewhere. Thought I’d share my old girl here for those that don’t.

    Model: VS 5 Litre BT1

    Year: 12/95
    Colour: White
    Motor: 5 Litre
    Mods : Mace CAI
    Exhaust: Single 2.5″ Cat Back
    Gearbox: Auto
    Diff : LSD (Live axle)
    Power : Untested
Suspension : FE2 with Monro GT Gas shocks & struts
    Interior : SS
    Rims : 18 x 8 Speedy Cheetah’s
Bodykit : SS front lip & rear spoiler
    Kilometres: 258xxx
    Owned Since: 11/98

This has been my daily for over 16 years now.

Has a few battle scars which gives her some character. A good 40/40 car.

Pretty much stock but goes OK, makes the right noises and is still enjoyable to drive.

Very attached to her after so many years and so many memories. No plans of parting ways at any time in the future.

Random pic dump below from when I first took custodianship through to more recent times.

    Still got the Owners Handbook

Excuse the quality…..late 90s analogue style.

No cop chip but does still have a few of these under the back seat as a reminder of her civic duty days.

The one and only, shattered flywheel doing burnout at 6,000rpm, pierced the floor in 3 places, luckily missed my feet, severed the chassis rail, destroyed engine/box.  $26,000 total write off.  Fun times

It went off like a bomb.  Part of it went up vertically and smashed the air conditioning stuff behind the dash to pieces. About a third of the flywheel we never found, I assume it exited out the side.  The clutch pedal got hit so hard it swung around and was pointing vertically up.  Scariest thing I have ever had happen in a car.

Apologies for the thread hijack buddy!!

No worries…always interesting to hear people’s war stories.

Sounds like you’re lucky to have your legs.

Long time no update, so here is one…..

After nearly 19 years and 230,000 kms of custodianship I sold the old girl last week.

Given pussbucket has locked out links, here are the last pics I took for the sale ad.
