Waking up and knowing I never have to go back to my old job again!!!!! And looking forward to finally getting my ticket as a qualified mechanic. I believe I may have the record for the longest apprenticeship in history. Started in 1988 and should be qualified sometime in 2017 lol!!!

    How does that work? hahaha

Decided to try and learn classical guitar, after 4 lessons, today I am finally able to play something that at least hints at sounding musical :)

Ive stopped and started a lot of times in my life lol. Effectively I’m qualified but I have to do 1 more year at TAFE and then 1 year on the job to be signed off.

Pulled the 396 down and still clean as.  No unexpected issues (costs) So, bigger cam, higher comp and money put aside can now go toward getting more out of the heads!

What’s the best pass you have had out of it?

What’s plans comp and cam wise??  Who’s doing the heads.

Gonna sound like a real tool here, but had ignition issues all day and a miss at 5500rpm + but ran 10.7 @ 126.  Comp will go from 12.3 to around 13:1, cam is changing from Comp Cam to Crane Cam. 264/274,  .705 lift.

Nathan Higgins to do the heads if he is happy.  He originally ran the CNC program through them in the first place.

Part of the reason for the refresh was to make sure all mechanical was ok due to this miss at high rpm, and to piss that comp cam off and to change ring pack.  As expected, finger pointed at ignition.

Getting accepted for another full time job today after getting my two weeks notice last week.
What also made me smile is the irony- I recently moved up to Elizabeth from Noarlunga in Adelaide, because I was working in Wingfield for the last 19 months and needed to move closer so I did.
Now I’m back working in Lonsdale down south, doing the same length trip that I was doing before for work LOL

Yesterday I saw a Delorean coming the other way along the Bracken Ridge Wetlands area… a most unlikely and welcome sight and freaky because today is the day Marty, Doc and Jennifer arrive #BacktotheFuture

So yeah #science, iPhone, NetFlix, VVT and shit but time’s up where the fuck is my hoverboard? #BacktotheFuture

    Naturally as-pirated, all-motor.

Ive seen that car I reckon too, I reckon they are way prettier in real life than the pics.  In pics they look boxy/angular, but in real life very low and sleek imo.
