Goodridge hoses are pretty good they are barbed on the fitting end for extra strength when crimped to the braided hose. I work at Race Brakes Sydney and make the conversion front lines here and can make virtually any hose custom here as well. A pair of front commodore conversion hoses start from $150 a pair. We also carry the 3/16 hardline and the tube nuts in stock for your hard lines if needed . We are currently looking at sponsorship on this forum as we previously did with the Street Commodore forum.

XYZ and many of these other brands are import kits of the cheaper variety hence the low price big size kit options. The things we see with import kits is the fact that replacement parts are often hard to get and they are not compatible with local DBA or even AP Racing parts. Flex, leaking and distortion also come up quiet often when people contact us to repair these products. Buyer beware and also remember that it is harder to certify these kind of kits so make sure you check with an engineer and insurance company if you want them certified.

I bought my modified VT brake booster from Race Brakes in Sydney, they were really good to deal with and seemed to know their stuff. Would be worth giving them a call.

Brake kits containing VE calipers and rotors also require a bracket to adapt them to the stub axle unlike the VT to VZ models. The VE option also has less clearance and may require a larger than 15″ rim as there are more options. Conversion hubs are also required for any larger brake upgrades on the VB to VP models.
