Im mainly after a radio surround and console top like the one in the pic but a whole console is preferred. Must have the ability to have electric areal buttons put in under the radio. Can pay postage/freight to SA if needed. Thanks

have a look into a VR or VS(series 1) Caprice Console, only thing its a different colour
Statesman of those models is similar but not leather, might be able to trim it, i’ll have a look in the shed, think i have a statesman type one

That would be great, I wasnt aware the centre piece came out
The VS Statesman Console in my shed looks like this but doesn’t have the individual switch blanks, could of sworn it had them, might be better off getting a VQ one like the ebay link ive listed
I’ll get you a photo tomorrow. I rekon I have one in the shed.
All calais and statesman will suit you. Only the vs senator and gts had the leather look(its vinyl) cover but the others look much the same just without the price tag

the problem with the VR/VS radio surround, it doesn’t have the cutouts for the antenna switches- see the photo above that I took from the back of the spare console in the shed

Funny my VR Senator has the antenna switches, and looks quite a bit different to the one above. I always thought the VR Senators were based on a VR Berlina, but did they use a different radio surround?
That front plate that says abs comes off so still might be able to use it with antenna switches, cut the back out?.

Yeah thats the type im after, I would probably grab that one off eBay if he actually had the radio surround with it. Might just get a VQ one when one pops up locally
