Hey all well after a year from ordering my six pot calliper’s I have them dam they are nice brake porn below

so with the vb v8 getting sold soon I may as-well start my vh build thread so some of the parts that were for the vb are going on the vh now so will post picture of that stuff later on , so recap what I am going to do

lsa or similar depends on when I can afford one

    6060 6 speed manual

    Heltech ECU

wildwood 6 pots front 343 rotors and 4 pots rear 330 rotors

mini tub rear using factory wheel tub off another car with 9″ Detroit locker adjustable top arms

xyz coilovers in the front and the same out the back

twin 3″ exhaust with remote butter fly to keep noise down

18″ wheels not sure what yet

paint will be white but will have it all going before it’s painted

vb front end chrome bumpers with over riders going to make them and the black plastic trim from steel or  aluminium but still have them black

aluminium drop tank filler behind number plate like hq etc remove existing filler

    any way photo’s

Thanks Ian had the six pots on the vk so I know they are good ,,

Cava I found the vh with a six in it  a guy owned it for 27 years and still driving at 92,, so a change of plan and I had not gone to far with vb also not wreaking a factory numbered 5ltr sle but it’s 100 time better condition now than when I got it it’s had six birthdays and Christmas all at once  , should get good money for vb

I look at it this way I can only drive one and I don’t have any feelings for the green one sounds weird I know but I have strong feelings about the vh maybe it’s that my first commodore was a 83 burgundy vh six 23 years ago

plus there are still things I would not be happy with even if they were fixed ,and now some one else get to enjoy a classic that looks and feels way better than when I brought it

Pity you not selling it in a few months, would seriously consider buying it, but all my cash (and wife browny points) are tied up in the motor rebuild

e38’s can be a bit fussy but are quite a powerful ECU..
