hi guys this is a few pics of my 1980 vc commodore im putting together, driveline is a lq4 iron block, powerglide and 9”, hoping to run bottom 9s possibly high 8s once sorted

im using a lq4 block with gen 4 piston n rod combo, gapped rings, stock 317 heads with spring upgrade and mild turbo cam, holley single plain with elbow and an s480 turbo, will be on e85 with a holley dominator ecu, motor made 630whp with a gtx42 proboost on 14psi in another car. (motor in pik is mock l98)

I support this thread lol. Giz more details of the setup, what mounts, stall, header setup, how are you running the dump pipe etc.

I’m putting an LS3 into a VK and plan on going single turbo down the track.

na that was the last one i built hypo79, i ended up putting a 2j and powerglide in it then sold it, instantly regretted it so started building this one, diff measures 1400 disc to disc, with 8” wide and 4” backspace. diff was narrowed so it shares wheels with my hq wagon, and before people jump on it yes the commodore is hq bolt pattern

lq4 test fitted, dump pipe will go threw passenger tower, holley intake is a littl tall not sure what il do there yet
