THE SAD PICS OF MY BELOVED VL GROUP A – (HDTSS)

These are the pics of my car accident that not only nearly killed me
by breaking 12 major bones, inc both legs thighs and shins, arms, ribs and my back twice.
but it totally destroyed my beloved first VL Group A.
I loved it, except for the split drive shaft.

…and no I wasn’t speeding, as I was going thru the traffic lights the
suddenly swerved left and I aqua planned sideways straight into the steel lamp post
that sitting in the middle of the driver’s door and ended up in the centre of the front cabin.

And because it was a sideways drift, not a head-on, I had 1 second to make a decision
whether to unbuckle my seat belt or not. What would you of done?

If I had not of unbuckled my seat beat in that short time before impact I would be dead, as the lamp post came thru the door as I was unbuckling.

As you can see the lamppost came straight thru the centre of the driver’s door if I was still seat belted in
I would have been just crushed

The Queensland Police still came around to my home 1 year later when I finally got out of Hospital and wrote me out a Failing to Wear Seatbelt Ticket for $15

After my effort with the Z Car when I was out of hospital 3 months later the icing on the cake was to be charged for the Power Pole and charged by the Police… I know this pain..
