    Hi all this is my 1985 VK Calais that I have been building slowly over the last few years

    Colour – Alpine white over silver.

    Body kit – HDT group A

    Engine – VP efi 5 litre

    Power – Stock

    Transmition – turbo 350

    Wheels – VR clubsport

    Interior – Custom re trim VT coulsons up front. monaro four seat conversion rear

    Other mods – VQ long range fuel tank, Vt overflow , battery relocated to boot, lowered, tinted windows, adjustable strut tops, one piece engine cover

    ill put up some more pics when I figure out how to resize them on the ipad

    Nice build.

    Who did the hidden wiring in the engine bay?

    Looking at doing the same to my SLE with the seats but in leather (Leather seats were an option on my car from factory but were swapped out for the velour by the dealer)

    Just a local auto electrician, cost me $900 for the engine bay re wired. This Calais was leather but I pulled out the seats and door trims & sold them off which paid for the coulsons. Velour has the 80’s retro feel I’m after plus my clubby and mazda cx5 both have leather so it’s nice to have something different.

    Interior looks pretty trick, the cloth is cool for something different.
