Well, on the 12th November we did what we set out to do with the car.

    it ran a 10.50 @ 129mph.

the video below has a footage of the pass at the 10:00 min mark.

I’ll try and get it to run a 10.4-something then call it a day with this motor.

dam nice time ,just out of curiosity the vk I had (manual) had 361 rwkw so 483 rwhp I never got to run the 1/4 mile ( got stolen) what would be a rough idea for a 1/4 mile time with that power , I know a lot comes into it but just a guess

    Nice!

Try it with larger air filter or without it to see if it gains that last 10th you want in top end..a scoop with isolation plate would probably get it there but would ruin how it looks now.

Cool to see it driven & raced.Well done mate.

I was thinking the same about the filter, after watching the Engine Master episode where they test air filters a bigger filter may unleash the last few HP.

Its definitely an interesting theory. Size is mainly suited towards carburetted applications i am told.

I race with a k&n 9×4 with open top with no filter oil.

I believe for me that extra 10th lies in the the front shocks. way too much up ^ going on in the front end.

looks cool in pic though haha

I think you live around the corner from a work mates place, he know’s your car. He has a silver 4 door HK, i think it is.

What’s the plans once you run a 10.4?

Oh really? I’m in the Berwick Views estate in Beaconsfield. Can’t say i know the car i’m sorry

If i had the cash and the balls to hack it up i’d love a crank driven ProCharger and have it setup like the o.g. murdernova.

But in reality it’ll stay n/a. Probably dart block, 427ci, bit comp, e85 etc. but, thats in years to come fingers crossed.

Well, the time had come to get my ass in gear and finally paint this Streetclass Fibreglass cowl done by Jake Holmes.

It’s 4″ and has been smoothed underneath the cowl. Came up killer!
